Speedjunky. You can rebuild that caliper, it is not junk. This needs to be done every year if you acutally use those big red things for any time.
Oh bye the way if anyone is interested my car weights 3100#, without driver. Not too bad considering that is about 90# of roll bar. I think if i actually tried i'd be under 3000 pretty easy.
I wonder if they do this bickering on Porsches forums. We are all driving Mitsubishi's for god sakes.

How do I do this Jeremy? I ask Mitsu and they wanted almost 100 dollars for the seals for one caliper....got any tips?
Never underestimate the power of the ignore feature on this forum.
Despite the online banter the meets we have are always a good time.
As anyone who has gone to a Pittspeed meet knows that's a very rare thing.
Weekend of Automobile Excitement
Pittsburgh International Auto Show. Made interesting because we actually need to start shopping for a replacement for our other car.
Beaver Run AutoX this Saturday.
NHSCC AutoX at North Park Sunday.

Ok guys who know a little about LICP
Is it me or does this ETS LICP look like it doesn't fit? It is supposely for the eight. but it doesn't seem long enough...
Also the Injen LICP I tried first was similar but instead of it being not long enough, it seemed to have went to far towards the front of the IC, making my coupler have a extremely weird bend in it, weird enough to make me wonder if it would hold up......
Anyone here can help me make this fit, I would be happier lol
Injen: Not sure you can see the bend in it...

ETS....You can see what I mean here:

The injen, frankly fits like crap and I have the injen FMIC! You think they would fit nice.
DO NOT USE WORM CLAMPS ON THE LICP.
Get some big assed t bolts and tighen them down.
Better yet have Liz do it since she is stronger.
