what happened to NEOLC???

i dunno if i'll be home for the meet, but if i am, i'll be there.

we definitly need to get together and head out to the shootout at norwalk.

There is also talk of an autocross day at lorain county for about 35 bucks a car!

i'll get more details when they are given to me.
Hey, even one of my friends was like "maybe I'll join." I never assume.

NOLC - Northeast Ohio Lancer Club. Just didn't make the word East separate.

Norwalk - I'm down. Even if I'm slow, I'll run.

Autocross sounds fun. I'd be up for that.

this hasn't taken off yet, making a group is one thing but people actually sticking to it is completely different.

Let's see how it all works out. The Subies will be at the next meet also... It'll be fun.

My thoughts exactly. It's easy to say "I'll join" but it's what comes after. A lot of people don't show up, don't support, etc.

On the bright side, I don't plan on charging dues, so that should let the cheapasses join. But it also means we do less things that involve money.

hey once we start meeting regularly, I'll offer my services to put together (at least a starter) website. Maybe even escalate it into a forum board eventually but start with profiles, meets, events, etc.

Can I volunteer to moderate for the "for sale" section?

I offered my wife's services as she does web sites professionally when her job calls for it.
I was cruising home from work today about 4:30 pm traveling west on I-480, and just as I flew past the W. 130th exit I passed what looked like a thunder gray, or maybe black evo. Any idea who that might have been? Some guy with what looked like blonde hair driving. I flew by too fast to notice any specific details about the car, but was just wondering if it might have been one of you guys?

Not familiar with a black evo around here. However a couple of hours ago near dead man's curb there was a disable red evo on I90. I actually popped my upper intercooler hose off of the throttle body. It scared the crap out of me.... thankfully Dr. Fob and Liljapnboy came to the rescue.

A Cleveland cop stopped and parked behind me so that we wouldn't get hit while trying to fix it. He jokingly said that I should have had a small block chevy instead of this "high tech" horsepower.

Hehe... He was really cool and was holding a flashlight over the engine bay while we were tighting up the clamp. My biggest fear was that he was going to be "difficult".

I seem to remember Jay having that problem frequently (upper IC coming off). Glad to hear everything worked out.
