How sad and miserable does someone have to be to hack into a discussion forum?

Yeah, a quick update, the forum is about 85%-90% ready I'd say.

We lost the posts & user database due to the hacking.

Me & Jimbo just have a couple more issues to work out before it can go live.

Thanks for being patient everyone!

Did any of yous purchase your car from Manfredi Mitsubishi in Staten Island NY? Cuz i plan to buy a new MR from there and they told me i couldnt test drive it that it was illegal in NY. And i wanted to know if that guy was lyin or not He told me that Evo-NY bought alot of cars from there.

Yes, the founder of the club (Willie), knows the guy at the dealer, and most of they guys on evo-ny have bought their cars from there. I'd say about 20-25 Evolutions.

They give it to us at a cheap cheap price too

I think he wanted to know if the dealer not letting him test drive the car was illegal or not. I don't think it is illegal, but it is up to the dealership's discretion who they allow to test drive a vehicle and who they do not. I don't think there is a New York State law that says they have to let you test drive it. But there also is not a law that states that they are not allowed to let you test drive it either. I think it has a lot to do with the dealership's initial impression of a customer. If you appear to be a customer who drives onto the lot with a car of significant value, puts down a refundable deposit and look the part of the responsible driver, I don't see why they wouldn't let you take their car for a test drive. It also has a lot to do with if you've dealt with the dealership in the past. I've personally bought a nice bevy of cars from my local Mitsubishi dealership and I get along with them, so I have no problems test driving, but if you're just a walk-in customer and use Evo-NY as a reference, I don't think it will give you much clout. It is true that Willie has facilitated many sales at Manfredi, so it would be a good starting point to talk to him first.
