Chevy Taho has a better turning radius than an Evo!

Wow, do I hear the writer saying, "Daayam....I'm too old for this S**t"

Without a doubt, the Evo is designed for a small group of performance enthusiast who value acceleration, cornering ability, and control over smooth ride and noise insulation. Anyone who wants to be pampered in a car should look at Infiniti, Lexus, BMW, or something...

Such ignorance...

The writer is retarded....He doesn't believe the VG and wing is functional?

I emailed him this link that points out the functionality of both items.

"But it is clear why this car troubles some safety researchers, such as those at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. They are dismayed by so much power in a vehicle aimed at younger drivers, who often lack any realistic understanding of the reality of mortality. The Evo deserves respect, common sense, some self-restraint and a grown-up behind the wheel. "

great quote and true.

Another reason why the Evo is considered high-risk could be the frequent claim history. The Evo is a very desirable car and attracts burglars and joy-riders. But in regards to collision, it also has many features that would help prevent acccidents, such as strong brakes and immediate maneuverability.

I still don't agree with the stereotypical viewpoint that ties young age with recklessness. Not all young drivers are bad! In fact, they usually have much faster reflexes than middle-age drivers. I frequently see "mature drivers" turn without signal, read newspaper, eat, put on makeup, etc. These are the people that cause accidents, hitting our Evos, and still give us the dirty look...
