first off i was told they would void my warranty for putting in a turbo timer.
I really dont think they knew what they were doing when they were looking at my car. Everyonce in a while i get a whine when accelerating, but when i put the clutch in it goes away... they did not hear anything (which does not surprise me, mainly because it does not do it all the time). They guy who worked on my car, said he just drove a RS and my car sounds the same and that that car had a bigger turbo. even tho the car is 100% stock. Back to the whine....i accidentaly broke the screws on the snorkle checkin to see how dirty my air filter was, and the guy said well thats prob what is causing the whine! I could keep going, but they were atleast nice to me and made time to look at my car

 

What dealership told you this? Don't take your car to dealerships, the majority of them don't know ****.

 

Try listening to the stick shift areamy bushings are squeaking and I only have a 2005 RS with 3600 miles BTW what dealer was this? It sounds like a whine

 

bring it to a DSM shop there are plenty of good ones in CT that will help you out. what part of CT are you in??
