Just so everyone knows... No one (including dealer techs) are allowed to drive the New Evo's for any reason other than to shift them aroung on the lot (ours are being parked inside to protect them). We have five, now. And, we will get a total of 16 (highest allocation in California, unless I'm mistaken). (909) 910-6674

manifest-means they basically accounted for the cars in their inventory. they have the paperwork for each car. good now?

 

Thank you, I appreciate the follow up. I guess I am asking if the dealer saw the car was manifested does that mean the car is on it's way from Japan or it on a truck headed for the dealer from port.

probably means any of those options. if i had to guess i'd say that it is in the states, accounted for, and on a truck headed for the dealer. they probably don't keep track all the way back to japan, only distribute them once they hit stateside, although i could be completely wrong if someone with more knowledge wants to correct me.

 

I just asked Boch Mitsu in MA about the EVO and this is their reply:

My name is Amanda, and I work here at Boch. I hope I can answer all your questions. The Evo 8 will be here at Boch on March 15th. We will be getting 12, we have taken $500 deposits on 9 of them. Those are not real deals as of yet because those people have not seen their cars. All deposits are completely refundable, so basically those people have first "dibs", but they don't own the car.
