Boston Area Touchless Carwash?
my favorite car wash in mass is the alston carwash. i have been going there for years but for some reasoni cant think of where it is.
in the copley and atrium malls i think the guys name is Dr Detail. they do a good job.
as far as as the tracks messing up wheels and diffs, it just not true. all 4 wheels roll together so no problems there. my mothers porchse has 10.5 inch wide wheels and our local carwash fits her fine.

Dr Detail is also in Cambridgeside Galleria - they are decent and its a hand wash for like 13 bucks. Downside is you have to wait a while sometimes...
Thanks for the responses on the diffs.

I just tried out the Somerville's No Touch Car Wash. I would give it 7/10 and would go there again.
My $10 wash (there were also $11, $9 and $8 options) did get all of the salt off the car but you can see residue where the water dried. I bet that if you brought a towel and dried the car immediately after leaving the wash you would be fine.
I bought one of the washes with an undercarriage cleaning but I did not see any jets firing up at the underbody from the floor. Maybe I just missed them? They had hard hitting jets aimed at the rocker panels that may have reached the underbody too, but I am not sure.
Summary: decent for the money, gets off the dirt but bring a towel to do the drying yourself. Also, may not do the most thorough undercarriage cleaning.
been there on that one in cambridge and for some reason i dont think it cleans it all da good but if you wanna take a drive theres one on hyde park ave is on a gas station i think that one is way better than the cambridge one ...
mmartahus also put me on to this place: www.rideandshinecarwash.com.
I have not had a chance to try it yet so I cannot give it a personal review.
