My dad is now entered in the Evo but the bigger wheels (which are actually gonna be slower I think) and a few of the mods take it out of A-stock, I think. He is in STU.

Matt, how did you end up doing? I ran the first heat, worked the second, and left for the 3rd and 4th to come back for fun runs but they didn't do any. You ran in the 3rd heat so I did not see you.

I came by your car twice to say hello but I must have missed you. I will try and stop by and say hi next event. My buddy who stayed said you were going like a bat out of hell.

The cross over screwed me up my first run through. Since I am a beginer I went through that whole area timid because I didn;t wanna go off course again. I still had fun. My little front wheel drive 2.4 was slipping something crazy in that first heat water but it made it fun.

All in all it was a blast. The rain scared off a ton of the guys for the meet but the diehards stayed for the autocross.

i ended up with a 45.1 in the 3rd heat which was FTD for a little, then it warmed up like 20 degrees for the 4th heat and times started to drop like crazy. I'll def. see you at the next event, i'm doing the whole susquehanna series, so come to some of the other events at park city mall or giants center if you want.

45?????? Holly ****. My brother in law did a 50 flat in the evo in heat one and I thought that was flying! It was only his second event and my first so we are newbies but looking forward to doing more this summer.

45,,,,,,, wow, I am really impressed. I really got a feeling for what it is like to drive at speed. You really can learn a ton about car control and meeting the limits of the car. Heck, next time I am walking the course with you!!! haha

Seriously though, good job and now I really wish I woulda stayed to watch your heat. I was hoping to come back and do a fun run in my car or the evo but they didn;t do them. Our evo is goofey, it has enough stuff on the car to bump it out of AS. The 1 inch larger wheels, and the Ralliart suspension keep it from running AS. I will find out what event I am doing next and keep in touch. If you would be willing maybe next event have you do a funrun in my evo as a passenger and/or let you drive and I'll be the passenger.

I was there for a little bit and really enjoyed watching the autocross. I would have stayed longer but it was cold as hell in the morning, and it was looking like it was going to rain again. Plus I didn't see anyone that was really there for the meet. All the mitsus that I saw were running in the autocross. I'm definitely going to have to check out more autocross though. Looks like a lot of fun.

I saw you when you pulled in but I was on the grid running in the first heat. When I was done I had noticed that you left. I don;t blame you, my wife left cause she was freezing!!!! Anyway, I got 15 emails that morning from guys saying that they woke up, it was raining, and the weren't coming. I was also told a bunch of guys were parked down past the Toyota Arena at first, Then realized where to go, and moved over where the rest were a little later on. Meet wise it was a bust. Rain made guys stay home, the ones who did come came late after the rain shower, and it was hard to park together. The Ralliart Evo, the galant vr4, lancer ralliart, silver lancer ralliart, red talon, silver evo 9, beige lancer, and red evo 8 were all there for the meet but didn't park together. So we will have to replan next meet if we have another at an autocross.

As for the autocross itself, it was a blast. It was my first autocross and they were very very beginer friendly. They had a beginers drivers meeting and walk through. It was very inexpensive and we got 4 runs!!! If you wanna do it in the future let me or Shane know. He ran his Galant VR4.

Has the schedule. Anyway, talk to you soon.

I'll be at the next event on may 28th, so hopefully they do some funruns then and you can ride with me. You definitly learn a lot about how your car handles when you autocross and i think it actually makes people safer drivers on the street.
