englishtown next wednesday....
I will at Englishtown this coming wednesday night. Hope any other Evos come out. I've been at roadrace tracks but never down a 1/4 track. I just never got interested until now. The Evo runs such good times its hard not to try it !
I was at E Town the past 2 Wednesday. Clicking off pretty much exact same times (between 12.7 and 12.8). MPH did go up a little bit, but I was blazin tires on the launch though (it was in the 40's, then high 30's last night). If the weather (and clutch) holds out, I'll probably there next Wednesday too.
you guys live in NJ? sweet so do i ..
i wanna bring her to the track but she's not fully broken in yet.. im at 600 mi.

Hey Incognito, so that was your Evo I saw run a 12.8 two wednesdays ago? That was a great run, I wanted to ask you what mods you have done so far. I couldnt really tell from the stands, but it seemed close to stock. I was there with the guy who ran a mid 11 second pass in the white rx-7.
Yeah, that was me. I drive a red Evo. On my last run 2 Wednesdays ago, I cracked a 12.71. Kinda suprised.
The RX7 sounded crazy on the burnout and the launch.
Next time U see me there, say wassup.

Yea, that was a good running night in general for alot of people. I think its funny as hell though, I had a feeling that your Evo was from this forum. If you're interested, the guy with the rx-7 really knows his stuff. He owns a tuner shop in Newark called Car Trix. Would you believe that he is running 11's with the stock motor and turbo? The only major upgrades he has is a full exhaust, greddy front mount, and he did a whole lot of **** with fuel from what I understand. If you ever decide to get into fuel mapping and all that other fun stuff that I dont understand, this guy is a wiz. In a side note, I see you also own an ITR. My best friend owns a 98 Championshop ITR and he ran it at Englishtown 2nite. He just called me and was pretty dissapointed with his times. He just had his JDM 4-2-1 headers put in and a high flow cat. He already had an AEM CAI and was hoping to run low to mid 14's 2nite but only managed a 15.0. Which is what he ran stock. I think he got nervous cuz he runs great on the street. What kind of numbers are u putting up with yours?
I hope to eventually crack 11's in this Evo, yet keeping it's daily driver status.
My ITR ran a best of 12.93 at 104.6mph. Had Toda spec B cams, Spoon header and a bunch of other stuff. It did run it on a stock bottom end, stock head (no extra porting or anything), and stock tranny. The car was my daily driver, but my little brother needed a car, so he drives it now. I'm trying to crack 11's in that car too, all motor though. Got some stuff in the works. My ITR ran a best of 14.4 stock, and with exhaust, header and intake, it was already in the 13's. Tell your boy to let me get a crack at it
