I got this ticket a while a ago 2002 in NY and finally got a letter. I did a search in google and came up "failure to obey traffic control device" Not sure what that mean and it's been so long that I don't know if it was speeding or not.

I got the ticket in NY but I have NJ license. Is this a consider point violation under New Jersey system?

 

The fine is $75 + $30 surcharge. I have never heard of this violation in NJ.

 

i got a traffic control devices ticket a couple weeks ago.

basically it is just a BS ticket for when they can't prove you did anything wrong, but still feel like issuing you a citation. the cop told me there were no points associated with it.

 

cool...I just can't afford any more points. Anyone else know anything about this it might vary from state to state.
