Hey guys! Ive been away from the lancer/evo scene for about a year and a half now. I kissed it so much I am gonig tomorrow to put a down payment on an 03 MR Graphite Grey with 42k on it. Either this guy is lying or he's getting hustled big time.

 

Before you go put any $$$ down on a "evo" please do some reading and get familiar with what is what in what year. Sounds like you are getting f*cked. Not hatin' on you, but like a few others have said...no MR in 2003 or 2004. 2005 only. Same is with the color of the car. GG made it's debut as a 2005 model. Hope this helps. And please ask anymore questions before you buy if you have any. I'm all about more Evo owners, but would hate to see a future one be scammed in doing so.

Sounds like someone is selling him a 03/04 with bbs rims and a vortex generator.

 

Ok, here's an update. The dealership who took it in told me it was an 03 MR over the phone. I, not thinking, assumed it to be true and overlooked the fact that MR's did not come out until 05 here in the states, being as I was so excited. I went today and looked at the car and it is an 03 Apex VIII. I signed the papers for it, being as it was incredibly clean and well taken care of. So on that note.... Hi, Im Nick, I have an 03 Apex Evo VIII...LOL. Sorry for the confusion guys.

- Wedsport sa-90 wheels
- Rays lug nuts
- Greddy oil cap
- Cusco catch can
- Takata harnesses
- AEM EUGO wb02 gauge
- Autometer Ultralight - water temp and oil pressure

Obviously from the posts above, the dealership was dicking me around. And after waitin over a week for a title on the car, I pulled out on the deal, since they cant get thier act together.

I ended up picking up an 05 WW RS with a few goodies done to it (see sig). I absolutely love the car and Im happy the cards played out like they did! I couldn't be happier with it!
