Where to get tuned?
Where to get tuned?
Just wondering where everyone in the northeast goes to get tuned with their evos? Im from mass and was wondering if their were any good reputable places close by? thanks in advance.
I went to Turbotrix and i am very pleased. I would highly recommend them. I do hear alot of good comments on the board of some alot closer. DSG...dent sport garage comes to mind. I think I remember AutobonEvo talking about them

Located right in Ayer, MA. Absolutely amazing shop with a great bunch of guys. I'd highly recommend it! Have had nothing but good experiences with every single car I've brought to them.

I had some work done at KTR when I first got my EVO. They did a good job. KTR was very good to deal with. When I decided to go full bore, stroked, built engine, turbo upgrade etc. I went to a shop that specializes in DSM....Turbotrix. I am very pleased with the work that TT has done for me.
So you need to decide whats right for you. There are alot of shops turing out some incredible work.

Mark at TurboTrix did a great job with my custom tune.

With all my mods (minus c/o and ARPs) I ran 12.1s / 11.9s (93 / 100 oct) with this same tune.

You're correct, Franz is no longer the full time tuner @ KTR. Ben is. But if you PM Franz he will do a tune for you when he's in the area. Also, I have heard good things about Ben thus far even though he's only been with ECUTeK for a little over a year or so from what I understand. Either way you'll NEVER have a bad experience at KTR. I've brought them every car I've owned, and every time I've left happy.
