My first visit to Danvers, MA mitsubishi.......help needed also....

Went to the Danvers dealer today to check out a 06 IX MR sitting in the lot. They wanted 36 and some change. I proceed to check it out and was approached by a salesman that turned out to be a complete *******. According to him, no one can test drive the car whatsoever because they dont want to put hundreds of miles on it from my test drive. He also says im crazy if i even think the price is negotiable. He then says "kids like me" come everyday and was extremely rude to both myself and my mom and sister that came. We told him we'll go to another dealership instead since he doesnt want to make a sale. Friggin rude *** bastard.

If anyone knows of any dealers in MA with a gunmetal or white MR in their lot please respond back........im seriously looking for a new one rather then one with abused miles on it.

Just from visiting that dealership alone im already getting a bad feeling about buying a mitsubishi. Maybe a IS250 awd might be a better idea?

Thanks guys. Just releasing some steam.

Perharps but you'll regret it IMHO.

Next dealership, bypass the salesguy and ask for the internet salesperson direct.

Evo MR is 33,000 all day here in Texas with no haggling.

Huh, they let me test drive one down there a while back before I went some place else. Might want to give Blake Mitsu in Hampton, NH a ring - I got mine from them, they had no problem tossing me the keys... plus I get some $$ if you buy from them and say I sent you. Let me know, I can set you up with the sales guy, he was real good and easy to work with.

Kelly Mitsu in Danvers is a joke. I went there IN MY EVO and they wouldn't let me test drive an IX. I might have talked to the same salesman. Total douche...the Evo inside the showroom was locked...it was a hassle to even get to sit inside one, never mind test drive it. I left soon thereafter.

NJ might be a bit far from you, but i heard they don't messed around when it comes to selling you an EVO. Never dealt with the guy before. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=238734

Looks like he got bunch of MR and RS left over.

My friend brought his MR last year from Manchester Mitsubishi and they didn't want budge a penny. I got my EVO from Key Mitsubishi/Merriam Motors in Milford and Wallingford, CT respectively. Same dealership, different locations. I don't have problem test driving the EVO with them. They're willing to work the price out with you if you're showing interested and just one of the tire kickers they see day in and day out. Their service department is so-so. PM me if you need more infos.

Danvers Mitsu sucks!!!

They didn't want my business either, oh well I just bought somewhere else and brought it back to Danvers for my first service. The dick that didn't want to sell it to me didn't look too happy when I pulled up.

Their service department is pretty good and the guy that works at the parts counter drives an Evo. But I don't think that they deserve any of our business (Sevice or otherwise)

Try Cornerstone Mitsu in Wilmington, MA.
There a new dealership and I'm sure they'll give you a good deal.
I go there for parts and the always hook me up and I'll definately be buying my IX there

By all means do not drive the stock tires during the winter. As soon as the temperature drop below 50-60, they're very unpredictable and dangerous. I don't know how bad the winter is in MA, but I think all season should be sufficient. At least in CT. I'm running a set of Continental ExtremContact all season right now.
