if rumors are true and the evo x does come out in early 07............might as well wait right rather then going out and buying the 06 MR .......any opinions on this one fellas? LOL.....

 

this was my initial plan, but i am not sure i like DSG, and Evo X has a new
engine which is unproven in the mod world yet.....

 

Don't ever buy from Danvers Mitsubishi (Kelly Mitsubishi). They suck *** at everything. The salesman don't even know the spec on the car. Try Grava Mitsubishi in MEDFORD, MA and ask for Mike the service guy tell him Sophon sent you . He could help you out if they have anything available there, he probaly could get you a deal. He once own a nice evo viii 8 now he drive a 350. Try that if it helps

i went to wilmington, and they won't let me test drive.
they would let me test drive if i sign a bunch of paper work!! what the !@#$%^?

how is the dealership in westboro?

 

Wilmington seems ok, but they do not have more than 2 or 3 there at one time, they are not new, they have been there for a while, as it used to be another used car place I think, but they have been there for at least a couple of years I believe, I think about the same time that the subaru dealership up the street went in

 

Give Westborough Mitsubishi a call; ask for Keith Stafford (I think that's his name). He may be able to hook you up. He helped me out originally with my purchase, but it seems you have the age thing going against you. Those guys have been very good to me, and have even provided some solid warranty work, which recently included replacement of the ACD hydraulic pump. Good luck.

 

I went to westboro, and they would not let me test drive without finishing the negoiation first. Then they gave me a really bad deal, they want MSRP - my trade!!!
And they gave $1500 below kbb on my trade!
I read so many bad experience at peterfuller, but i have no other choice.
they are the only other dealer that have GG MR, so I went to peterfuller.
To my surprise, I got a testdrive without even asking. I told them I am deciding
between the STi and the EVO, and Bobby (the salesman) just took me out for a testdrive. He was so confident that after I testdrive it, I would pick it over the STi,
and he is right.
And I got a deal that is about $1500 better than Westboro.

 

do not go to Peter Fuller (peter full of sh*t is more like it). they're not going to let you test drive the car either. you also can't negotiate. for some reason, they like to keep you waiting for no reason. they'll tell you they'll be right back and disappear for about 30 minutes. their parts and tech service are both terrible also. they're always giving me the wrong oil filter. i live 5 minutes from there but rather drive 30 minutes to Danvers to get my parts.

 

Bob is a great guy. My buddy and I both got our Evo 9s from him in last Sep. But the service depatment sucks.

 

Bob is so un"peterfuller" like! I was so surprise by the way he treated me,
i was expecting a lot of BS and hassel before i went in.

I read a lot of comment about they have a bad service dept, but they are
1 mile away from my house. Are they really that bad?

Any horrible story to share?

 

I never brought my EVO back for any services at PF. However, I did talk to one of their service managers regarding an oil leak problem and I did not receive any good treatment from him as I expected. Good luck
