whats going? i'm dave and i'm a proud evo owner I used to drive an 05 Sti but it was totalled last month by an 86yr old man. Anyway, i've had 2 subes and decided to make the switch. Always been a big fan of evos!

Did your Subies have any mods?

 

You'll love the evo over the subies...i laugh at my friends who have STI's who have to pay twice as much as i do for each mod and only make about 3/4's the power that i do. there on upgraded turbo's and im killing them with my stocker

 

I live in Southeastern MA.
I had an 04 wrx that was basically stock besides a cbe. And I had just started getting some goodies into the STi, installed a car pc, Cobb AP stage 1 93 oct, had just bought a tbe to run the stage 2 93 oct. And I was going to get a protune with race fuel for the track.
The Sti is a great daily driver compaired to the evo (softer suspension). But like you said, it will take much less to make the evo much faster than the sti.
It was a tough decision to make but i chose the evo for 2 reasons, 1 its hard to find a used performance car that hasn't been abused and 2 i don't like the new look of the 06 STi, otherwise i would have gotten another sube.

So here i am
