That's what's so ridiculous, if people are getting hassled for stock, I don't want to go through the bull**** that's going to be having an actual aftermarket exhaust. Idk what to say really, **** MA. That's about it

 

A slight change in states but I was pulled over in my town with the cop claiming my stock exhaust was illegal. He was judging by the large diameter tip and probably the wing that everything was aftermarket an illegal. When he first pulled me over just took my liscence and registration without telling me why I was pulled over. Then I saw he was gonna give me a fix-it-ticket for my stock exhaust! As he was claiming the excessive noise " stock noise excessive?", as apposed to Kia sure. I then stated again the exhaust came with my car brand new from a factory showroom floor, he stammered in almost yelling that my car leads to idiots on the roads. At no point did I raise my voice, but obviously he is grounded to his opinions. I said " fine I will take the ticket, make a court appearance with all proper documentation regarding my stock/illegal exhaust... in turn the judge will be pissed that court time was wasted on a unnecessary/illigitament violation. I will walk out with not having a fine and he will be repremended ( I know some local cops that stated this so to me in the past) for his actions." He had another call come in and he tore up the ticket, taking off wheels spinning. Sorry long winded but I am still pissed by loose regulations that can be approached by uninformed opinion. The one thing about that whole experience I got... I don't give a $%*! and will still drop on my TB exhaust . Lets see where it gets me.

 

All this talk about exhausts .... and I've never seen a muscle car or a Harley get an exhaust ticket. Man, those Harleys are real loud. They always love downshifting in tunnels and sometimes they even make me jump in my seat.
