Shed some light Please LOONG READ

I went out today and bout 2 blocks from my house once a month the cops set up an inspection center. They check inspection stickers and seatbelts. I've gonne through them a few times without any problems. Today i pull up i roll my window down the female officer looks at the sticker and was bout to let me threw. Bout a second later this guy in a white shirt, i don't think he was a cop it maybe a guy from the dot. He comes up to me and says "ur car is a little loud" i responded "a bit, but not luder than some harlies and mstangs around here, and i think it's below 95 decibels" so he says to me " whats dat suppose to mean" I kinda smiled he then procides to tell me "and wat about this window tint" I showed him that it's just he rear windows and dat the front ones have no tint on them. He then goes on to tell me dat no tint is allowed whatsoever... BS so i asked him wat about all those suvs and luxury sedans that have tint from the factory. He then trys to say that only factory tint is allowed... BS againg so i tell him that this is factory tint ( just to see what he would say) he din't say anything he proceded to tell me to pull onto a parking lot where there was a DOT truck. As he is telling me this another officer comes up to him and says " the guys over there said that the machine isn't working and we won't be able to test anymore cars today: I got a big grin on my face and the guys just said to have a nice day. Now I'm not sure but is that truck like a mobile inspection center? If yeah what can they measure with it? and where is that guy coming up with that no tint is allowed?

Where in jersey are you located? I never seen no **** like that. That's kinda ****ed up. Here in freehold, the cops have been out full force for about the last week or so. I got a ticket for a license plate frame partially covering "garden state". I told the cop he was stupid and he said he could give me a ticket for my air freshener hanging from my rear view.

I never used to have problems in that area. The worst is the Highland Park cops. I've donated much money to those bastards.

well if you do get pulled over by an officer and they feel like being gay @ssholes they can call a mobile inspection unit to the scene to test your emissions and if you running a test pipe like me, they can impound your car on the spot. It's not a fun deal but it can happen. Have I seen it happen or heard of it happen recently or to en evo?!!? nope but it's an option for those bastards if they choose to royally screw you over. About the window tint thing tell him to hit the pike rear window tint is allowed by NJ state law. freehold cops suck my firs ticket ever was by a freehold cop but manalapan and marlboro cops are no walk in the park either.

I've had a friend of mine get a ticket because the garden state was partially covered and it was a dealer license plate frame so wtf?!?! craziness
