morning everyone!

i detailed the evo yesterday with the PC... zomg she is looking amazing... such a sick machine! took me a solid 12 hours!!! sooo worth it tho.

dexters ur up next buddy! maybe we can convince Paul S to bring his PC and we can tag team the evo. should speed things up considerably. i'm thinking next weekend. you have no choice.

I second that. I hate Mondays...always have..and prob always will.

Doesn't help that I barely slept last night. After attempting to go to bed at like midnight myself, I ended up getting up every hour because my girls poor kid was up all night yacking...we think he may have gotten food poisoning .

crap i almost forgot about that... let me think about it some more but i'll most likely head home one night this week and pick it up the next morning. if i do this, could you (davids) meet me at your place so i dont have to leave it all in my trunk?

I am interested in doing a really dinner meet this week...it has been quite a while. Maybe chinese buffet in Marlborough followed by ice cream on Farm road?

As for an oil change... I dunno what my schedule's going to be like so I don't want to promise you anything. I think we're still planning on driveline fluid changes as well as plugs, etc for Saturday so maybe you could fit it in then, but I just don't know. We need to finalize plans for Saturday/Sunday pretty soon...this week's gonna fly by...

As for tonite... I'd like to take some pics I am just not sure about timing/schedule...the earliest that I can be out is 6 which is no problem but I may be later... I'll know more this afternoon... Also, we need a good place to go...most of my spots are pretty overused now....

If you pick up the fluids you can leave them at my place...no problem

I picked up a fluid pump from harbor freight this weekend...$7... if we're planning on doing 4 cars on saturday we may want to have at least 1 more pump... i should've gotten 2 (gearbox/tcase) but I only snagged the one...)

 

i can prolly pick up another fluid pump this week. i'll prolly just bring my car to westboro for an oil change. i think its gunna be too tight to try to squeeze it in any other time.

i'll head back to the woo after work and hit ballys since your gunna work late. call me when you get out though if you wanna do pics after. have you tried looking in berlin/hudson at all for locations?

 

i have a grease pump guys. if we do fluids saturday, can we do them in the afternoon (after 1 or 2PM)? I'm tied up in the morning

 

I may attempt to do my fluids on friday to free up some time. I can always pick up what i need from daves during the week. Dave i will plan on being at your place early saturday so we can do your/our car(s) first - similar to the clutch line day. Hopefully it wont turn out the same way. Then maybe paul and anja can come later to do theirs. That should break up the day and allow us not to be too stressed.

It may be best to push off the oil change this time... I don't want to end up trying to cram too many things into one day...

I plan on being out at 6...so you can plan your schedule around that. I have not searched for places around the area...it would be good if you could find something before we head out. I'll only have 1-2 hours tonite to devote to pix taking...

I like this plan a lot.... we'll figure it all out on our cars and hopefully be able to throw together a faster change on Anj and Paul's cars... Also, I believe Anj's car is even lower than mine so we may have some special problems there...especially with our ramp/jack plan...

Is it a grease gun? or a fluid pump (goes inside a quart/gallon bottle)? If you've got an extra fluid pump, that would be great! See Turco's post above... we'll try to slot you in for the afternoon...

How are you currently getting yoru car up in the air? Ramps? Racejack?

 

we can use stands instead of ramps. Just put the front on stand and jack it up from the rear, should work the same way. This doesn't have to be exact to the drop.
