Such a slow day...

So I got the goodyear eagle f1 GS-D3's in 215/40/16... but it was raised to my attention that getting a tire with such a low profile sidewall that is stiff as hell (F1 series for the good years apparently have a stiff sidewall). I'm not sure if they'll work safely with a 16x6 rim...

is the lancer fast enough to need tires? i thought you could just run those puppies on wagon wheels...

They look cheap, too! You could rock a set of 16's for under $80. OR!!! You could upgrade to Dubs for less than $100.

Holler!

Little brother? More like retarded cousin...

And the new Ralliart really has nothing to do with the old lancers... the fact that an evolution of the lancer/ralliart platform will finally achieve a level of performance that is worthy to evoke those names is certainly something to celebrate. But it in no way improves my outlook on the previous generation of Lancers.

Sorry buddy! I still think you should buy an Evo...they're cheap nowadays.

i definitely think the GT-R is ugly. *shrugs* good thing the performance makes up for it.

Dave, this is classic, and one of the main reasons why I love you. We don't need to go into the other reasons now, so use your imagination.

But I have to agree. The '04-'06? RalliArts were not even close to what the Evo is. Are they a step up from the base lancer, absolutely. But they are still leaps & bounds away from an Evo. Motor, suspension, brakes, seats, chassis, drivetrain, etc. don't even compare...

But don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the RalliArt the way the car is. I just think Dave is right that it finally has a platform worthy of it's name. Now if they would just stuff that into the Eclipse (new GSX FTMFW!!!), I would be in heaven!!
