Yea, I had to drop off the boost controller yesterday and I saw it sitting there and was like "Um, wtf Al, where is my carbon fiber lip?" he goes "There is no engine in your car"

I couldn't see ****, by the end of the work day my eyes are so dry and blury from these crappy contacts I couldn't see well enough to notice that the nose of my car was sitting 4 inches higher than normal, not my lip missing. Talk about sad.

Oh well, it gave me and Al a good laugh. What's the story with your stuff?

I say opt for the WORKS .9" springs. I have been reading up on them, and they are suppose to be almost identical to the stock Eibach ride with the Bilsteins, just about an inch lower. I even read that one of the members on here said it lowered his car about 1", and then another 1/4" after it fully settled. That is teh exact drop I would want if I had this new X.

*EDIT- wait on power mods. I agree with Turco, wait until teh tuning market it stable for this.

So, the same car as yours was in the showroom. $44k sticker price. But after looking around at some of the other GSR's...I am torn as to deciding what I would be getting into next. I want the MR, but know I would miss shifting. The MR is looking better and better after much thinking
Next time I am able to make a meet, can you take me for a ride, or let me take your car along with you? I would like to drive an MR prior to buying one that has had the proper break in method already achieved. That would be worth a night of beers for you next time we head into Boston


Al is handling it. He took the pics, and saw the exact defective flaws as to getting them to be covered. I am hoping that it will work out so that they are covered. Again, very little was discussed, and the defective components spoke for themselves. And the drive doesn't bother me. I would drive further if I needed to. I just want to be taken care of, as the past dealer passed me off coutless times over this issue.

Eh, it's not so much the job itself. Granted it is some of it, but not all of it. I myself have just been blah lately.

Between work, trying to get the Jetta I picked up for the gf fixed (or sold), trying to find a place, and a bunch of personal life $hit going on
(that is far from necessary), I have just been ovewrwhelmed/stressed alot lately.

Besides, when it comes to work, with the way things are going, I am just glad to even have a job (even when it blows sometimes).
