I have showed to the ones I say I am. I definitely have said in advance 'not gonna make it' to those I know I couldn't. Last one I had to leave early, due to the inlaws flying in and staying with us for another funeral. And that trip cost me almost $500 between a new windshield, mldgs and paint repair

Honestly, it is all me right when I get home with Samantha (5:30ish pm-7am). Elesha works nights. After 8pm isnt' that much fun in public with 1 year old who is ready for bed. I would be 'that guy' in the restaurant everyone wants to punch for having his kid out so late
