I would buy the cheapest in case poly or solid mounts you can find and install them. Take the center console out and it is four bolts holding down the shifter assembly. Should be an easy job.

Haha, you guys ever hear this?

When you have an 'I Hate My Job Day'

Try this out:
On your way home from work, stop at your pharmacy and go to the thermometer
section and purchase a rectal thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson.

Be very sure you get this brand. When you get home, lock your doors, draw
the curtains and disconnect the phone so you will not be disturbed.

Change into very comfortable clothing and sit in your favourite chair. Open
the package and remove the thermometer. Now, carefully place it on a table
or a surface so that it will not become chipped or broken.

Now the fun part begins. Take out the literature from the box and read it
carefully. You will notice that in small print there is a statement:

'Every Rectal Thermometer made by Johnson & Johnson is personally tested and
then sanitised. '

Now, close your eyes and repeat out loud five times, 'I am so glad I do not
work in the thermometer quality control department at Johnson & Johnson.'

HAVE A NICE DAY; AND REMEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE WITH A JOB THAT
IS MORE OF A PAIN IN THE *** THAN YOURS!

Thank you, that's what I was looking for. Would you happen to know how much of a PITA the motor mounts are to change out??

Kenny, thanks, that made my morning!

2 I believe, front and rear. I can't remember which is the one to change at the moment (front I believe) but I am just going to do both since they are easier to buy as a pair.

there are two sides one and one on the bottom and one on the back of the motor. So there are 4.

Holy crap. Are the sides not replaced often or something? Checked out BR.com and found the front/rear combo. I'll do them all if it's what "should" be done to try to fix my "problem" but if it's not usually done why bother.

Share your wisdom with me Master Turco

I told you already, to fix your problem you probably need a new clutch.

Also, you can put in a SS clutch line and remove the restrictor (can't remember if you did or not), adjust the clutch rod underneath the dash, and set a NLTS shift point in ECU Flash. All should help (along with the bushings as mentioned).
