Thank you Paul. How much of a pain was it to install each? I'm curious if I can disconnect the stock MR gauge and use that on point for the new one? Though I have no idea where that is or how it would work, but it would be a bit redundant to have two boost gauges....no?

Is your boost gauge on your steering colum to? Does it block a lot of the dash with two gauges there? I might get 2 cups so I can mount them down lower on the sides...not high up, if that makes sense

which paul you talking to?
I don't know what paul has but I have the 2 autometer carbon fiber cups.
I highly recommend going that route as I had the premolded steering column before and they seem to get in the way a litte bit. The cups can be mounted in any position and they are relatively small.
Plus I think the cf cups look better.
I think I have a pic or two somewhere. I will try to find them.

I have two Autometer cups on the coloumn. They really don't get in the way for me. Alot of that has to do with the fact that I keep my steering wheel very low when I drive. The higher it is, the more in the way the gauges will be. If you take the time, you should be able to position them so that they don't block much. The right one will block the fuel gauge if not placed correctly and the left one will block the speedo is not placed right. I cant really see 0-10 mph with my setup but it doesnt bother me.

he boost gauge is a pretty straight forward install. The UEGO is much more work. The boost gauge comes with its own sensor (i.e. you can't plug your stock sensor into the GReddy boost gauge). While its probably redundant to have 2 boost gauges, I probably wouldn't bother removing the stock one. Idk where the stock sensor resides... I only know the Oil Temp sensor is in the drain plug.

I also have a JDM 3Bar on my setup for I can directly log boostage.

I have the same, just in black.

EDIT: This is what I bought - http://www.jegs.com/i/Auto+Meter/105/2204/10002/-1 (fits 52mm)

+1 the cups look really good and I agree about the molded piece, its ugly. I can try to remember to snap a pic. I think they look much better in person than pics lead on as well.

Vegas, you can come by whenever...no problem.

I MAY head out to Framingham tonite to buy some furniture but I think I can process the order over the phone. If i am in your area i will drop it off... otherwise, I can definitely leave it in the "drop zone".

Just let me know.

Paul...what in the hell are you talking about???? Mechanical boost gauges don't have sensors....you just run a vacuum line and wiring. Electronic boost gauges (usually part of electronic controllers) will have a sensor obviously, but that is not what we are talking about, is it? The stock gauge may be electronic (is it?), but is Ajay getting another electronic one?

But you are right, I would probably just leave the stock gauge in there. And as far as what gauge, I really like Turco's Prosport set up {thumbup**

Hey Davids, do you still have my compression tester? I can't remember anymore...I need to check the compression on the VR4 I sold (the first one). The kid's mechanic told him the motor was blown and wants to charge him $2500 for a new one. I basically told him to tell him to F off and get his car out of there

Anyways, if you do, can I pick it up tonight after work sometime?

oh why thank you marshallface! The prosports are really awesome. They are accurate, cheap and have peak/warning. What else could you ask for?

the greddy gauge is electronic, idk what the stock MR is... and you cant reuse part of the stock setup for the greddy gauge
