Turco, let me know what you want to do for tonight, where you want to meet. I have a garage at my house, or we can meet somewhere more central. Doesn't matter to me, I just want to be out of here before 5 so I'm not holding you up or miss you in Marlborough.

I'm actually seriously thinking of getting rid of our GSR shop car for an MR , this may actually happen within the next week or two ...

Oh well that is good news then. Hopefully ease of install will work out in your advantage. I dont know how the electronics will react to harder engagement though.

Forget that (coming from the person that actually installed your exhaust lol) just bring it somewhere and have them drill the TP and weld the bung in on the car. No need to pull anything off.

actually that would be the best thing i could do. It would be cheap, and take them like 20 minutes tops.

If you're simulating the O2 sensor anyway, why not just plug the sensor in and tie it up under the body? Seems like a quick fix (drywall screw).

I will state this now and forever. If your evo has a drywall screw incorporated into holding anything in your car together, i will from this point forward not work on it until it is removed

To your point though i would not want the sensor exposed to the element as it will just kill the life of the sensor and eventually end up in the same boat. It is worth it just to have it plugged into the exhaust with it turned off in the ECU.

HAHAHA
i think you need to get off my nuts about the screw thing. i'll treat my $30k trash heap how i want to treat it.

my a-pillar is my last concern as my car rattles out of the driveway on every cold morning. i think that spending $60 to fix it would feel a lot like polishing a turd.
