I know man...but what your describing is very similar to what I went through. But, I would check it if all possible. My gut feeling is that you are experienceing exactly what happened to me

actually, come to think of it, I've seen a red MR with the BBS' painted black and I thought it was butt ugly....so maybe not every color looks good with black wheels

 

I totally disagree with everything you said. Red looks awesome with the black wheels and i think the GG looks horrible with them. GG is probably the worst color for doing wheels because it needs a silver/chromier wheel.

 

RR is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) color on an Evo IX. I would love to have a RR IX with gloss black MR BBS wheels.

 

It is definitely one of the best looking colors and black MR wheels ... droool. I dont think i could personally rock the red car though.

 

i still hold the opinion that silver with midnight purple wheels would look sick! And yea, nice shiny RR IX's are sweet! saw a 45 year old dude driving a stock one yesterday!

 

or silver with takata green Purple would be interesting to see.

 

You threw that idea out to me a while ago about the midnight purple...but I could never rock it. Even if it looks good....the fact is that its purple. I couldn't go through life with people asking me if my wheels are purple lol

 

tim the trick is to get a really hot chick to ask you why your wheels are purple then you follow up with "because my little daughter liked the color and i would do anything for her" then make sure she sees no ring and BAM = tim + sexytime...
