its not 21 it is 6 years of driving. I dont have any infractions on my record so i have the lowest points possible. I also live in a very low crime area.

Oh, I thought it was 5 years. IDK what my point rating is but I haven't been in an accident and I have yet to get a ticket but I don't live in a low crime area.

I also do the 10 payments per year.
I think at age 25 males get a deduction on their insurance as well...
Can't wait for renewal since I got mine when I was still 24.

Very good. They improved my car by a ton. They do not lower the car too far and they have more rate to them to keep them from bottoming out the strut (kills struts).

Search my screen name for threads I have started on them.

nah it really has nothing to do with age because i got the safe drivers bonus when i was 23/24, whatever age i was last year when i renewed. you get down to 99 or 98 whatever the lowest is and then if you have 6 years no infractions you get a safety driving bonus - this is what you lose when you get your first ticket in lieu of adding points. of course this is all based off of what i remember and they have changed a lot.

I pay like 950/year with progressive, with multiple speeding tickets and 1 accident. I'm also 28, and live in the burbs.

AFAIK, you get discounts after 6 years of driving, and then once you turn 25. I know my policy went down a couple hundred after I turned 25 anyways...

Exactly I planned on using the extra $500-600 on a new receiver/speakers as well.
