It will probably just be out of commission until we get the house and I get work on it in the garage (which should be in about a month). Happy New Year to me!
Marshall, sorry to hear about the VR4, congrats on the house though

ouch

Thanks Alex. Affirms what I though. I am hoping the spindle & strut are fine...it does have AGX's. Life goes on...

I did get the LN46A650. It was $1549 @ Bestbuy and I had a triple points coupon (which will give me back like $100 to use @ BB ) You can find it a little cheaper online, but I didn't want to deal with having it shipped when no one was home...

Edit: I was planning on the 52" all along, but after seeing them side by side, I couldn't justify the extra $500 for the little bit bigger that it is.

I have a wideband and good boost gauge now. Woot.

I'm curious to know, what is the normal ranges for the Uego to operate in, especially under WOT and just cruising speed? I was getting all sorts of differnt stuff on the test drive tonight

Edit, big thanks go out to Josh for doing most of the real work. He figured out a pretty go way to wire up the power sourses and run them to the steering wheel. Thanks again man! Let me know when you need help installing your stuff!

Good call on the samsung, I think they're TV's are superb and plus the TV itself without even turning it on looks so slick. Sorry to hear about the VR4, hopefully the damage isn't as bad as it sounds. I have a buddy who did that to his vr4, he wound up doing the 5 lug swap for the entire suspension. Hey did you ever post pictures up of the car by any chance?

I agree on the Samsung TV's (obviously). Definitely the nicest looking TV's off, and on

We shall see with the VR4. I really have no need or want to do the 5 lug swap right now. All monies being diverted to house, so no extras for the Galant this year. And no, I didn't post any pics up yet (mostly because I haven't taken any )

Cruising around at steady state, you should see ~14.7:1. That would be closed loop operation (unless you are cruising around at 100 mph, then it might kick into open loop and richen up).

At WOT, on a stock tune, you would probably be in the 10:1-9:1 range. The cars run pig rich- I forget exactly how much so, though.

With a uego you will never know what the stock tune runs at WOT because it is <10:1 which is outside its range like mikie said.

I know he is tuned for 91 octane so i suspect it is a tad richer then it would be on 93. probably in the mid-high 10:1 or very low 11:1 area.

Sounds good Josh. I think I might get a little brave and try to change the locations of the gauges today if I have time. I want to spred them out a bit more like when we mocked the up instead of so close like they are now. Should be interesting to see what I manage.

And Rainier is a great pup. He has changed a lot of peoples openions about the American Pit Bull Terrier that I know. He's super sweet and extremly kind. And unlike some dogs he has no problems with strangers. Makes for not the greatest guard dog, but nice when you have people over.

The cruising sounds about right, and when I get on it at WOT it goes all the way to the left of the gauge down to 10 something.

Again, spot on. Guess that just needs to need a retune. I'm going to attempt to get a valid inspection sticker today or monday and then when ever you want to work I will be ready.
