Then the lady from two houses down where we were renting rear-ended my car during an ice storm (I was sleeping when it happened). She actually waited outside for someone to come out I got another $400 from her, and still did not fix it I then sold the car for about $1000 more than it was worth
Sweet deal. That is way to awesome. The FPD already figured out who the owner of the car was, figures it wasn't the chick who hit me, surprise surprise, probably why she didn't stop. They also went by the address the car was registered to, not there. They are working on getting everything sorted out. The officer I delt with was extremly nice. I'll be happy if I get a couple hundred out of it to put towards a JDM rear.

Time will tell.

You will likely have to get an estimate from a body shop. Just make sure it is a 'good' body shop (read: expensive!)

Or one where your father use to work and the owner is a good friend still

Damn, that sucks. Hopefully you get your JDM rear now. Do you think the body shop that your dad's buddy owns can modify the rear crash beam? Mainly because I wanna keep my crash beam but IDK who to take it around here to have it modified.

If you find someone who can, LMK. I should be getting my JDM rear bumper soon.

Here is a pic for a custom rear section in place of USDM rear impact bar, to accomodate a JDM rear bumper. Looks easy enough.
Unfortunately, I am missing the last 2 digits of the guys (Brian) phone number who can get/make these (I think the shops name is "Afterhours" or something along those lines)
