Going back to this...I got rear ended (read - took it in the rear 
) in my Eclipse RS back @ WPI (and it was actually the Dean of Admissions who hit me 
) and he gave me like $600 cash (it was scraped up fairly noticeable but not cracked or anything). Then the lady from two houses down where we were renting rear-ended my car during an ice storm (I was sleeping when it happened). She actually waited outside for someone to come out I got another $400 from her, and still did not fix it 
I then sold the car for about $1000 more than it was worth

My week has started off wonderfully with be rear ended trying to turn onto Rt 9. Thankfully it wasn't very fast and there is no major damage, just a scuff, but what really irked me is the bimbo who did it backed up and just drove by with a wave like "woops, I hit you, no big deal though because your okay. Bye." I got her plate but I don't even know if it's worth calling in to the Framingham P.D.
Here is a pic for a custom rear section in place of USDM rear impact bar, to accomodate a JDM rear bumper. Looks easy enough.
Unfortunately, I am missing the last 2 digits of the guys (Brian) phone number who can get/make these
