Alex, if you read this, I was not attacking you in the engine/turbo section.

It was a digression none the less. I'm sure that the law can be interpreted in many ways, and sure if you get a cop with a hair across his *** then he'll bust you for a muffler. We've all had that happen. I've won in court several times on exhaust tickets by using that law to my favor. I understand what you're saying.

RE the external wg being more or less legal than a modified exhaust- the problem is that the wg bypasses the cat and that's ducking federal emissions laws.

i totally agree with you, but you made it sound like any O2 would make the exhaust illegal, that is all i was saying. Didn't mean to come off like i was attacking you.

No worries man! If it were my car I would do a tubular 02 but I don't want to bear the risk of having his crack and then deal with warranty work. As it stands he wanted "over 300whp" So we're in the money with whatever this thing will make. I expect mid 300s. Excited to see.

I find it kind of funny how Tomei claimed the turbo was the largest bolt on turbo made on the market. I wonder if they meant JDM?

Maybe I'm being pessimistic but I don't expect that turbo to do anything a green can't do let alone a red which as far as I know is the largest stock framed turbo.

Hey everyone....yup its really me. I'm looking forward to spring. I'm usually checking out this forum everyday. I just dont post to often. I'm in the heating/plumbing business so the winter is always very busy for me. I put the EVO away for the winter with only 700 miles on the new engine. But I'm getting the itch for the warmer weather. Hope to see everyone soon. If you hear of any meets in the spring, someone shoot me a PM. Thanks

Good to hear from you man. Hopeing to see that Evo out again!

As far as the Tomei turbo, I just read the thread, almost done with it, it's a nice looking turbo but I can understand the sceptics...I am excited to see what it does though.
