I think we are going to shoot for a mid march meet. I'm open to suggestions (date/place). We typically will do dinner in the Framingham area as that is central to many of us.

Thanks for the link Kenneth. Those are hot but not my style.

So me and Tony (Silver9MR thanks once again! I appreciate it) installed my AEM short ram and AMS small battery kit and what a pain in the ***. We had to remove the fan to get to the clamp holding the factory intake pipe to the turbo and then the AEM intake itself isnt sitting all the way back as it should. The hood closes but the intake needs to go back about another 2 inches or so. Also I'm getting some kind of cut whether it be a boost or fuel cut in 3rd gear at around 6K RPMS, most likely from being untuned and on a stock fuel pump but it doesnt cut out in 1st or 2nd.

I'm down in the South Shore area a lot, and on the Cape all the time. I'll keep and eye out for you man!

Glad to hear you got it in (that's what she said) Josh. Sorry I wasn't down for last night. I knew I had to get to Dave's and you can even ask him I was pretty tired. But your fuel pump should be your next mod! Not expencive and totally worth it!

Dave, I love this camera. The more I fiddle around taking pictures with it of totally random stuff (my mountain dew is my favorite modle thus far) the more I love how it works. What was that website you recomended to me in NY for accessories? I take it I can get lenses there to, right?

I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying the camera already. I thoroughly love the D40x and I am sure you will too. I buy all of my supplies from B&H Photo (http://bhphoto.com). They usually have better prices than even Amazon. The best part about their site is the fitment guide and the in-depth reviews.

Don't forget to check out "Understanding Exposure." It's the #1 tool to become a better photographer, IMO.

Sounds like boost cut. Welcome to making more power than stock untuned. I would avoid going heavily into boost until that is fixed as boost cut can cause unsafe levels of knock and if done repeatedly can really hurt the motor.

I have removed quite a few of those clamps and have never had to remove the fan. if you cant get it from the top you can always get it from the bottom (TWSS).
