whoa- i'm confused now. i thought there was some incident that lead up to this (water ingestion). moreover, the car was pretty well modified, so really, mitsu has a good case to do to -nothing- in this situation. so in actuality, they are doing him a favor. i'm glad to see they he didn't have to pay out of pocket, but i think it's pretty generous, actually. if it was a subaru, the dealer would have more than likely told him to go pound sound. i had a defective transmission from day one in my car and couldn't get it fixed because it was an intermittent problem.

that being said, one more hour and i'm outttie!

However, some of the newer powerwheels type ride-ons are now coming equipped with an MP3 input jack, and optional remote control for parental operation.

This is what I want to get for my daughter, but it is always 'out of stock'

I totally agree he should be grateful that it is being fixed. That I am not questioning. Point is, regardless of the situation, his car is in for warranty repair, and he needs a rental. Seems simple to me...

Figured as much...

But seriously, if it's pissing you off and doesn't seem right, bring it down to them and have them drive it. Worst thing that could happen is they can reproduce it...

No way!!! I have never seen that ad on here. My brother ordered a car on that site for his oldest, and sent me the link a long time ago. Weird!

type r, your 2-3 is notchy? weird, NOT. Welcome to owning an evo. It just means you have to shift faster.

you'll have to drive my car and tell me what you think. dave drove mine. he thought it was notchy but said it wasn't the tranny since it went in fine when he double clutched.

i think my tranny is waaaay notchier than other evos tho. shifting faster makes it worse, significantly.
