You'd be quite happy with this as a beginner/serious SLR.

I am looking more toward working with the creative lighting system and the image processor built into the d90.

The D90 looks to be an amazing camera but I figure a SLR is complicated enough for me, no need to jump into the top of the line one right away.

As far as this weekend, I am heading down to the Cape at around 1ish. Have to get the lady back there so she can work. But I will be back Monday afternoon and would be happy to stop by any time that is convienent for you.

yeah i saw them a few days ago, not a huge fan of the look but i love the color choices.

 

i am more partial to the color than the wheel itself. it looks pretty good tho i think.
