But ya, I am getting the hell out of the dealership world. I will be working for Cranston Collision Center in, well, Cranston RI. They are a very reoutable body shop, one of the few that I would ever actually recomend to anyone. I have actually known these guys since back in 2000 when I started working for Mitsu. And these guys were the type that no matter what dealership I was at, the ALWAYS did business with me.
After the last little blow out with the owner, (told me I should have been fired like six times because a customer/freind took HER car their to be fixed, and not one of our half *** referal shops.) I told them what happened when they actually called to thank me for sending another car their way, and after hanging up, 5 minutes later they called and offered me a job running their parts department. So after a few interviews, it is pretty much almost a done deal..so if everything goes accordingly, Wednesday should be my last day here.
Can you say win win regardless
Even if not, and somethign falls thru with this place for some stupid reason, well, after the owner caught wind that I was quitting, he asked me Friday what it would take to stay..told him at least another $150 a week for starters, which I'm supposed to call him on that today. So even if CCC falls thru, least I'll find get the raise I deserve here
