Monday's not looking too bad and Tuesday's supposed to be even nicer

I'm in the same boat though. The evo's sitting outside on a jack waiting for the new whiteline center roll kit to go on

 

It just sucks because I'm working overtime pretty much everyday except for friday since I usually go out on friday and then I'm working saturday again. Its like I have no time for all this right now lol but I need to make time.

Hahah, about the same time we installed your front mount lol and she likes Evo's lol. She wants to go to the track one day but I completely forgot the track was open lol. I've been wanting to go there but I probably wont run since I have that 3rd gear boost cut unless we flash your tune onto my car once I get all my parts installed. I might install the smaller stuff this weekend if the weather is good. I'm probably gonna work staurday but I'll start once I get home from work. I wanna get my front mount, boost controller, fuel pump, and lip this weekend. My parents are *****ing about my front mount being in my room. I'll call you if the weather is good to see if you wanna give me a hand. I also gotta buy a set of ramps and fix the flat on my BBS's so I can throw them back on. The blizzacks are bald lol.

Also im gonna replace my spark plugs and I was wondering, should I use plugs that are 1 step colder? or will the oem heat range plugs be fine? Can anyone verify that the spark plug gap is 0.020" - 0.024"?

 

Stock IX plugs are Iridium and you should *not* gap them - they should be correct from the factory.

 

I remember reading something about that. Anyone know if the ILFR7H come pre gapped? I dont wanna pay $15 a plug for OEM plugs. What other maintence should be done? I'm just trying to do the small things before I go to NJ. So far I'm changing my oil, coolant and spark plugs. My drivetrain fluids were done about 5K miles ago.

 

i believe all iridiums come pre-gapped. i *think* that model is the stock plug. try asking for the evom discount, but i think you will be stuck paying over $10 a plug. imo, id stick with the stock plugs...

 

I just found my service manual and that part no. is what it shows. A set of 4 is $47 which is no big deal. The dealership near me wanted over $15 a plug. Plus I just found out right now that I'm missing another damn coupler for my IC lol. This time ETS forgot to send me one for the recirculation pipe.

Mikie- I _may_ have to postpone the trip down. I may not be able to leave Manch when I want to in order to grab dinner and port the manifold. If anything, I may be able to get down there around 7:30/8ish. I think I will be stuck here @ work till at least 5:30 today due to one of my guys being out.
