PM replied. Yes, for the millionth time You can spoof the ECU to pass emissions with the O2 sensor plugged in but not reading. As long as the O2 sensor is not throwing a code for a bad heater circuit i can make it pass. If you have a IX you can remove the O2 sensor all together


Yeah others have gotten the same patch to get rear O2 to complete.

 

good news though considering i need an inspection sticker this month. - Acamus (Slovakian) is hacking all the OBD2 sub routines to return pass, so there is not longer a need to simulate anything. We can just shut off any periphery to turn off CEL codes, and still have all OBD2 tests pass.

 

not sure to be honest, but it was something about the o2 sensor not being ready.

 

Stupid emissions. They don't do anything anyway.
