I had someone do the same thing about my taillights for the galant. They're not even listed for sale and people are pming me for shipping quotes. People have to learn to read before shooting ****show messages.

what really pisses me off is that three different people backed out of buying them now. i'm charging like $25 for shipping and eating the rest. then one guy offered me $500 after saying he wanted them shipped. how does $150/each + shipping = $500.

i hate car forums. i'm going back to troll the pit bull forums......

mikie, how would you ship the wheels? i found a kid with a perfect GG wing off an 05 MR... but shipping is f*cking me royally... cant seem to find a reasonable price...

 

Yea some guy wanted me to ship 2 sets of tail lights for 75$ shipped. I was asking 75$ per set. I swear people just want to steal everything.

 

i think you just slap some cardboard on teh the face and then wrap them up in that industrial cellophane. wheels and tires are actually easier to ship than most people think. did you ever order tires online? they just strap them together and send em out....

 

Shipping the wing is a *****.

Rims are easy, throw them in boxes, tape two boxes together. I had 4 17x9's at 22lbs each boxed up. Have them stick two rim boxes together and it'll be cheaper. With tires is another story.. I would just put cardboard over the rims and tape it all up then ship it out as is. Cost me 75$ to ship 4 rim's w/out tires from cali to boston.

 

don't use cardboard directly on the surface of the wheel unless you don't care about the wheel. It will scuf and scratch the paint.

 

good to know. these are already beat up- they were purchased for a winter set, but the car is unusable in the winter, so i don't need em. i got the team dynamics on now with the RE010Rs and then I have the original wheels with the all seasons for when it gets cooler. i don't need yet another set of wheels. i think i learned my lesson with the last car and hoarding wheels

 

i still wish i bought a set of RE010Rs when they were dirt cheap...

its very annoying that shipping 4 wheels is easy and way cheaper than shipping the damn wing... wing weighs waaay less and the 4 wheel boxes are probably about the same size...

my main office is in Hopkinton, but i have a satellite office in Soutboro since i am there 2-3 days a week. They are closing sobo and moving them all to Hop so w00t.

actually no, they are going to 228. Dont ask me how they are shoving another 1200 cars/people in that space. I have no idea.

 

Jason- no brake pads. I turned this place upside down lookimg for them. One of teh techs believes he may have thrown them out cause they were sitting on one of the parts shelf for a long time. I would have sent them out yesterday if I could find them. Really sorry, my appologies.
