i was looking at the TTP down-pipe and resonated test-pipe. they want $160 for the DP, and $80 for the resonated TP. so thats $240 + shipping.

TTP is definitely best bang for the buck but i am still not sure on if it rubs. I think i am going to get some poly exhaust hangers to make sure everything is nice and tight.

COBB is a great company. I am glad they are a part of teh Evo community with their products. I know they do some sick things for teh subie guys. I believe I saw an all CF intercooler with all CF I/C piping. INSANE!! Probably a fortune, but insane nonetheless.

After my parts show up, and then my tune (Pual, if you are getting tuned, maybe we can work out a deal with Matt @ DSG ) that will be it mechanically for me. I decided to not do anything internal on the engine. Only bolt ons. I will/may go into changing suspension. I have springs (TEIN) now, and love the way the car drives and handles for teh driving I do. So we'll see.

the one thing that really bothers me is that TTP stuff is really just megan stuff. All the pics on their site are the same as megan pics - yet they deny that its megan. which is super shady.

people have also complained about fitment - when the megan dp is only advertised to fit 03-04 evos, while the exact same pictured TTP dp is advertised to fit 05 VIIIs as well as IXs. I think thats the deal breaker for me.

why pay TTP extra for Megan parts when i can get it cheaper from Speed Element.

I run the exact same setup that Marshall does and my Megan DP rests against the oilpan. I had to drop it and wrap it with heat wrap to stop some phantom knock issues I was having. This spring I'll make a spacer between the O2 housing and the DP to create a gap under the oilpan.

Also I use an anti-fouler adapter on my rear O2 sensor on their hi-flow cat but the bung is welded at about 4o'clock on the exhaust pipe so you can see my O2 sensor sticking down from under the car. One unfortunate bit of debris and that sucker is gonna get creamed. Not sure about the placement on their test pipe. Otherwise...its great, lol.

Wow. considering the sensor costs more then the TP I would probably replace it or get a new bung welded.
