Probably awesome if it were in a more matte or satin finish. High gloss not so much. When I was pondering options before redoing my VIII wheels, I thought the same thing. But wanted to keep it subtle. I refinished them with Volvo' bright silver and put teh same enkei decals back on, but they're a little smaller. Freebie's from enkei guy. Then cleared teh wheels.

ooooo i luvs u forever if you get me new enkei stickers if i finish them!!!!! thats actually my main reason for holding back on painting them or powder coating them... i luv the bling that the sticker adds!

 

I should have 4 left. He sent me 8, and I did only 4 wheels. But let me check when I get home tonight. If I don't, I can surely get more. The decals are smaller, but I like them smaller, and they fit the wheel better imo.

 

sick man. i'm guessing you powder coat guy could closely match the hyper blue? how much for the set? 200ish?

 

well, luckily you know someone with a sandblaster and a rapin' and killin' room, er....paint booth, so we could experiment on a few different colors. then you could either just spray them or have them powder coated in the color you like.

 

i still think on gg, the time attack (albeit somewhat trite now) or the white would be best. the blue kind of blends in with the car. it may be different in person.

i dunno...it's your whip so you gotta like it ;P

i'll apply it on top of a coat of gunmetal to darken it up. then maybe a light coat on top to give it some metallic flake.
