its funny you say rustoleum, cause i found a forum where someone used house rustoleum paint and thinned it out and sprayed thru a hvlp gun. it came out really well. cost like $30 bucks. lol

i also vote for matte black. At least it will be easy to touch up.

Hey what do you guys get for normal MPG? I have been getting 18-19mpg, pretty much all city. I just wasnt sure if that was normal.

i think phil said that the best way to make a car flat black was to rattle can it. i mean if a body shop says that's the way to go, i believe it

and....guess who has a compressor that can run a hvlp gun....

i think this is a fantastic idea.

Keep the CF. It will flow with the matte. Stock spoiler + rexpeed front ducts =
Seriously...matte black is p.i.m.p. My 600RR is all flat black. High temp engine paint FTW!!!
This color would look awesome on your Evo

Tim, glad you like the calendar man....next year we'll get your car in it...maybe the bike too!!

Turco:

I now get 18/26 MPG, slightly better than I got when the car was stock... 18 city is pretty much right on the mark.

Ok that is good to know. The only highway i ever really drive is from RT9 to Daves and back, and that is usually a pretty brisk drive. the rest of the time i am usually stuck in 4th gear at like 40mph. I really wish i could stay in 5th during cruise. No low end torque fo' teh looz.
