Not to mention it hasnt exactly been cold this past week.
yeah i emailed mikie to see what his plans are for tonight but i am not sure if he is alive. I think he slept in today. I might be heading to North Shore to see his buddy for his b-day but i have no idea. I will let you know when i know.
Besides, the practice area is awesome fun when you are waiting your turn, so you don;t have to stand around in the cold and be bored
Get out there and rip it up!!!!!!!!!!!
how many runs do you get usually? Do they make you work when you're not racing or do you really get to screw around in the practice area?
Is it a pretty big lake? Is there any danger or sliding into trees near the shore?
DSG is pretty much the default shop in the area for Evo/Subaru stuff. Service is great and they are trust worthy for sure, but IMO their prices are a bit on the higher side. Might as well pay a bit more for peace of mind though...

Runs depend on the amount of people who signed up. Sometimes they ask for your help to assist in a corner. Lots of spinouts. But they have a tow vehicle to pull cars that are really stuck. You can usually luck out and not have to work a corner. Especially if there is a full roster for the day. And you can rock the practice course the whole day between your runs if you don;t get asked to assist in a corner. But they rotate the corner help very often. You may have to do once throughout the day.

Lake is huge. Nowhere near trees, or any structure that may improvise your car. The only thing you "may" hit is a snow bank along the plowed course. But really easily avoidable if you somewhat can manage to control your slide/spinout. The plowed course is very wide for this reason

Believe me guys, they wouldn't let you guys on if there were safety issues with ice thickness. The ice levels are checked very frequently, as they don;t want any issues or mishaps what so ever. You guys are in good hands when there. No need to worry
