Dex (or anyone with a silver or graphite gray evo - it was dusk couldn't tell with my tinted windows) were you in boston yesterday? Or the past couple days? I've seen numerous silver/gray evo's all week out of the corner of my eye. And none of them wave at me...

 

wasn't me. i have a bright orange hard hat in my rear window, and a DSG sticker on the rear driver side.

O all the evo's i saw were in traffic behind me or coming the opposite direction. I wish someone would recognize me...

not sure who would want it considering half the fun of a tactrix cable is reflashing the ECU yourself.

I'm not sure the device can flash? although it really should be able to.

 

it's for canbus, so that might be why the dongle isn't necessary.

the logging without a laptop is pimp. colby told me he wanted to do that like 2 years ago...i'm glad it's come to fruition

you know what? you should be able to easily flash using it with a laptop.
it has a full speed (12mpbs) usb connection, and a full obd2 connection that he has full control over with a stand alone microprocessor. as long as he can get a dongle hooked up - this should easily flash.

edit: i think the stereo connector doubles as a flashing dongle for Evo X, as well as a logging connection for Innovate's serial bus. There should be a flashing dongle for Evo IX's which is just not pictured. the other 2 dongles i believe are for flashing early and later year subarus. (mikie would know)
