if you are looking for speakers, i've used these guys several times and have been very pleased:

i went with a set of mb quart rce216's, which aren't even made anymore....
they are power hungry though- i think the are 86db/watt and to really get some good bottom end out of them you need lots of juice.

Are you running an amp in your WRX? or is your head unit powerful enough?

eric had them powered with a 2x75 jl audio amp and they sounded like trash.
they are very inefficient speakers, but when you give them enough power, the bass is awesome. you could even get away without a sub unless you are a thugazz gangsta and need the boom boom boom if ya know what i mean....
you can take a listen to mine if you want.
I am convinced you want to keep it. And that;s all that matters!!
