i went with a set of mb quart rce216's, which aren't even made anymore....

they are power hungry though- i think the are 86db/watt and to really get some good bottom end out of them you need lots of juice.

Are you running an amp in your WRX? or is your head unit powerful enough?

no way. i have a rockford 2x155w amp to drive those suckers. if you put them off a headunit, you'll get like zero for bass response.

eric had them powered with a 2x75 jl audio amp and they sounded like trash.

they are very inefficient speakers, but when you give them enough power, the bass is awesome. you could even get away without a sub unless you are a thugazz gangsta and need the boom boom boom if ya know what i mean....

you can take a listen to mine if you want.

Solid choices - the LS6 CTS-V or the S/C LS3 CTS-V?

not sure which one I would get, probably the the older one, just cuz I would pull the motor, build it and throw a couple snails under there too
