drew wants waaay more than its actually worth. it doesn't "need" a new motor, but it burns a lot of oil. its a honda and it has a jackson racing roots-type supercharger on it w/ no internal work

i would throughly enjoy pulling the motor and building the internals. it would make a fun as sh*t DD

i'd probably pay 5k for it if he'd take it, but i doubt he'd take that

 

I have seen stock '97/'98's sell for $5-7k recently...$5k would be a pretty damn good price, no?

in all seriousness i dont think it needs any work despite the oil burning. it has ~100k on it.

 

if it's consuming that much oil, it probably needs new rings. i believe that's the most common failure for those cars.

while you are in there, you might as well get some beefier internals.

i'm just a geek that has crazy ideas and doesn't really have a filter so sometimes they get implemented. most of the time, they are okay. i have had a few 'failed' endeavors from time to time though
