Why doesn't he get an evo and be happy?

I almost made an HR worthy comment on the phone. Really almost slipped out.

i think hes set on an 04/05, but what was the big benefit of the 06/07's? they have much better/stronger motors right? do they have some additional variable cam timing system?
it's all the same ****. 07 had slightly better gearing but other than that, they are all the same. the LSD in the 04 is more aggressive, but there is less sound deadening. it's the closest STi to being a rally-inspired car. after that, they made them more tame.

the 07s had really messed up tunes from the factory, so honestly, i'd avoid them. stick with an 04-06.

Does anyone need 4 stock-sized Yokohama Advans? They're in excellent condition with about 3k - 4k miles of easy driving. Let me know, my buddy can bring them up from NJ this weekend

let's get the basement in order tonight. i'd rather wait to do the garage until it's nice out so i can pull everything out of the garage and rearrange it.
sounds good. I will shot over after I clean a bit at the house.

I would benefit more from intake manifold, 3" TB and ported head

dunno, hes some Indy/race engine builder guru.
From the first test that Buschur did though, it made the same power as any sheet metal IM except for at the very top which only lost 8whp.
revision 2 is being tested any day now

turcos/davids, wanna do diff fluids soon? i want to do this now, just ticked 20k and i think its time.

this is a dumb question, but davids you got your plugs/60k stuff from mitsubishiparts.net right? im gunna order plugs i want to do those soon too.

turcos, how about next weekend for spring install?

final dumb question, when you guys do oil do you usually replace the drain plug too? i might bring it to mitsu again today just out of convenience but i havent decided yet. obv if i do it myself i'd get an oem filter and crush washer from mistu.
