^^ don;t let them push you on the "you drive too hard." Technically Mitsu put a car out to the public with a warranty that you can not out drive when properly driven and 'un-modified'. It should take everything you throw it . Mitsu has the worst Reps in the industry when it comes to the Lancer Evolution. Every owner is already labeled as the 'kid that does nothing but beats the shi+ out of his car." We ran into situations like this when one of our S60R customers bought his car and only used it for auto-x/driving events. Dumb car to buy for just that, but as a DD its cool. The events he entered were insurance approved. And we had to cover his 4 sets of pads & rotors + brake and coolant flushes each year for 3 years . Volvo said to cover it as that is why they designed and built the car. For this type of driving. Wicked gay. Mitsu just says those things so the warranty costs stay down to make Mitsu look better on paper under warranty claims to cost factor.

For instance, they declined warranty on my shi++y peeling calipers. And then the sales dept said the crappy looking calipers take about $2k of the resale/trade in of the car. Found that out when I was inquiring about a X It was a no win on my end.

You are the best warranty for you Evo

True, but I dont think I'll be setting any speed records that day anyways, first time ever at an event like this...so just want to push my car a little, not to the edge.. ...still really excited about it though!

Yea same here, maybe 3-5 runs is good enough for me, then I'll probably set up the tripod and get some panning shots And I got a new lens last week as well, so looking forward to experimenting
