Bent Rim Repair Shops in NE???

So it appears I have 1 bent rim. Sigh. BBS Black Diamond one too. Can't see anything from outside but its bent a bit in the inside. I was looking for a shop that repairs bent rims. I heard they might be able to fix it instead of buying new one. Anyone know of any place?

Or looking to buy one. New or Used.
Trade for Cash or other set of rims. 3 are prefect.

What are the major difference from Rimpro and WheelCollisonCenter?

-Turnaround time?
-Cost?
-Quality?
-Customer Service?

I'd like to get the best for my buck. And get it fast and quick. Will they be faster and cheaper if I dis-mount the tire from the Rim? Thanks again for the quick replies guys. Keep em coming. I need to send this out tonight or tomorrow mourning. And get it back asap.

I second Wheel Collision. They will take the tire off for you (for a fee) or you can take it off. You have to let them look at the rim to get an accurate appraisal, but they can ballpark it for you over the phone.

I had them straighten a set of wheels for my tC that I bought on ebay for $100 (wheels that are normally $400 each when you can find them). Each wheel cost me less than $100 to get straightened. Now I have six good wheels and can sell two of them for $300 each and make a $100.

WC also provides a guarantee.

Check out their site...they may have a replacement ready for you or offer you a trade for your rims.

Awesome. Thanks JSC!

How bad was your rims? Mines looks great outside and inside and lips are perfect on both sides. Its just once they put it on the balancer. It's woa-ble-ly (ms) . Hopefully this isn't that bad and will be cheaper then dents/dings also. How's their process work? Re-heat rims i read. Is that safe for our forged bbs alum wheels?

How was the turn around time for your two rims from day sent to day received?

Thanks again everyone!

I dropped four wheels off there on a Saturday morning, they said they where out of round (flat spotted from the knucklehead that previously owned them barreling through the cratered streets of Baltimore). On Tuesday I got a phone call that they were ready. I dropped of the next two the following Saturday when I picked up the first two and got a call the next Tuesday again.

It'd be a 1.5-2 hour drive from Philly, but may be worth it to drop them off rather than ship them.

As for safe for your wheels? That I have no idea, though I imagine that they wouldn't do it if it would jeopardize the safety/integrity of the wheel.

Thanks again JSC! Info was very helpful and I think I'm gonna go with Wheelcollisoncenter. Gonna send out the rim on sat and hopefully it gets back by tuesday as well. My buddy is gonna loan me his VIII rims for now until it gets back. Then after that I'll make sure alignment is in check. And then I'll be back in business baby! -minus couple hundred bucks

I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks again.
