For those who need a visual aid can you provide us with a google map?
do we have to get permits for this meet? i dont want us gettin harassed by the cops
U don't need permits for this guys. It's a public parking lot and it's open to whomever. Especially for the hours mentioned? On a Sunday? it'z perfect.
Cops will probably drive by to check for anything suspicious, but we get that all the time at any meetz. But remember, Don't do nothing stupid...
Just come in, chill.. enjoy.
BBq sounds like a good idea.

I dont mean to be a pain in the butt or a party pooper, but I wanna do whats legit also....
anyhow, lets meet anyway and try to have a good time
as for the food idea, i went to an evo-ny meet there once and they actually had a bbq there. it was nice and there was plenty of food. but for this meet I think its best that people bring their own food/drinks to keep the meet as simple and headache free as possible
True that, but on the other hand I do believe that for gatherings of groups larger than 20 people or so you need a permit from the park itself.

I really want to make this happen but at the same time don't want to do ALL the work to make it happen, lets make this a group effort and make it happen the right way!
I also thought that we didn't need a permit being that it's a public park and the time and date is prime time to park goers. I did read on the park website that we need a permit for the meet being that there will be a decent number of us there.
