Well I just called and it's gonna be a toughy.

first of all, we need to give a 30-day's notice to submit an application and hope the date is available. Looking at it now, as soon as august 20th and on is booked for the US OPEN.

Application is 25.00 and that's it. If it exceeds a certain amount of people, then a clean up charge is added.. anything exceeding 100 people would be an extra $1.00 per person.

That's all the information I was able to come up with.


My honest opinion, would be to come up w/ a different place for this meet.

 

How about Best Buy parking lot in on 57 st and northen blvd?

Sunken meadow is nice but the problem is, it's not a central location for most people. It's only convenient to the queens and LI people.... We have to stay in queens for the most part because it's central.


I'm going to browse around google earth and see if I can find a nice spot....

 

How about the Douglaston Toys R Us Parkinglot.... That parkinglot is big and it's right next to the highway. It's also next to burger king which would be convenient for everyone who might get hungry. That parking lot is never full and is still fairly central.

Dunno if this has been mentioned already, but what about Alley Pond Park? Where we used to have the EVO-NY meets.

 

I like that spot but the parking gets taken up quickly by other people going to the park....
