Evo Track Day @ Nelson Ledges OH/PA
Hey guys,
I've been to Nelson ledges few times now. It's a great track and not expensive at all. I've been there when Preludes, BMWs, Minis had meets and such. I just thought maybe people would be interested in renting the track. It could be evo northeast meet.
I talked to officials, they are not that booked (we could get in a month). I know that about 10 evos from Cleveland area would be attending. Couple Columbus guys, Pittsburgh.
If we rent a track during a week (Mon-Thu) It would cost around $2500 for the track, $600 ambulance, $400 corner workers. All and everything would come up to be around $4000.
I wanted to see if any evos in surrounding areas would be interested. If BMWs, Porsches, Audis etc. can do it, why can't we?
P.S Here is the web site for the track http://www.nelsonledges.com

I know you're going to be at Mid-Ohio next week. Will that be your first time there? Mid-Ohio is a great track, Nelson is an OK track -- no elevation, no hard braking, no tricky combinations (except maybe the carousel before the front straight). The kink is a good test of whether you 'got any!'

^^^ Yea, I've been to Mid-Ohio before. And Beaver run. Nelson Ledges is not as hard on braking but still a fun track, pretty fast one too. Sure it's no where near Mid-O, but still better than 1/4
I know you haven't seen that many evos at the track (me neither), but look how many evos we have got here.
BMW and porsche clubs offer 2 days for $210. That's one hell of a rate. It's not cause they are doctors, they are organized much better
As long as it's poaid in full we don't need 32 people. But it would be nice to have at least 30 people
