i was there. i couldnt drive there(car outta commission/broken foot). if you saw a guy hobbling around with bandages on his foot in flip flops it was probably me. i was there with my car club. couldn't miss me if you saw the loud *** rx-7(black with a little puerto rican guy driving it), 350z with the built hyper black motor(took 2nd in 2 door 4 seater and we dont know why), black celica(took 2nd place in nopi chic custom), blue cobalt ss that took 2nd in gm custom i believe, and the "drunk guy" in the audience during jello wrestling that wrestled the girl(she owns the celica). my clubs cars were across from custom image. the grossest thing was that girls tit to be honest. it was saggy and pasty.

In case anyone was wondering, there were no Evo's racing this year. There were least 2 last year (both WW RS's), but none this year. The power street class was filled with DSM's (1g's and 2g's), but unfortunately did not take home 1st. The third place ('95 GSX with a GT4094R) only lost because he down shifted from 3rd to 2nd during the semi-final run. Luckily he built his stroker motor to handle this, and he came right back during an open session and ran a 9.993 @141 on MT's This is on a car that has a full interior (including radio and backseat) and is registered and inspected to legally drive on the street. Pretty impressive IMHO.

I think I might race next year. By then I should be a stage 47. (jk) But seriously, my friend qualified running 13's (he has a low 11 second 1g, but had problems all weekend). Even low 12's can be competitive. Many people lost just from missing gears. Besides, you register for $65 for the weekend and can have 2 pit crew members as well. So $65 for 3 people for the weekend vs. $50 for one. Good deal if you ask me (plus you can park your car in the pit area and not have to worry about numbskulls).

Anyways, not quite as eventful as last year, but still a good time. As mentioned, it was nice to see low 7 second cars flying down the track. I am already looking forward to next year
